Provided over 100 women with newborn care packages, educated them on the importance of breastfeeding, proper nutrition, family planning an use of contraception, discussed signs of gestational diabetes and preclampsia. 

Our outreach nurse also educated the women on the importance of  attending antenatal clinics for continued monitoring of blood pressure, blood glucose and regular urine test.

Provided coordination and financial support for the Community Health nurses at the primary health center.

The visit to this PHC  concluded our outreach goal of 2022 with over 300 pregnant and new mothers provided with antental and postnatal care and health education
