Our Mission
To address maternal, newborn and under-five mortality in Nigeria through the distribution of free delivery and newborn care kits to pregnant and nursing mothers in deprived and under-served communities, provide them access to local health centers for their child vaccination, support mothers through their reproductive, pregnancy and postnatal journey with lifesaving health information using local languages, and provide evidence-based training and support for community health workers.
THE CHALLENGES
According to a World Health Organization report, two-thirds of global maternal mortality happened in Sub- Saharan Africa with Nigeria reporting the highest incidences.
The lifetime possibility of a pregnant woman in Nigeria of dying during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum or post-abortion is 1 in 22, in contrast to women in the developed countries estimated at 1 in 4900.
Delivery and Newborn Care Kits
We provide free delivery and newborn care kits to pregnant and nursing mothers respectively in various local communities.
Immunization Vaccinations
Through our medical outreaches, we provide newborns with vaccination access to protect them against childhood infections
Health Education
We support pregnant and new mothers throughout their pregnancy and post-natal journey with life saving health information, and medical advice in their own local languages.
Community Health Workers Training and support
We provide free delivery and newborn care kits to pregnant and nursing mothers respectively in various local communities.
We assist less privileged families with much needed financial support to pay for medical bills, and provide care for their newborn
