Baby Testimony

A NEED DISCOVERED WHEN WE REACHED OUT

The story of baby Testimony is one that reflects the impact our community health outreaches program can make.

April 15, 2021: Testimony Jesugbamito is a young infant born to mentally- challenged parents in Lagelu LGA Ibadan. He is the only surviving child of his parents as his older siblings died few days/weeks after birth. We found this little boy in one of our outreaches in Olorunda community where his caregiver brought him for routine immunizations.

Testimony, was born on the 9th of Nov. 2020. His mother took him to a missionary on the 31st of Dec. 2020 pleading with her to please help care for her only surviving child. He was very dirty and stinking with a terrible cough. He has since been under the care of this missionary with some other homeless older children. He has had a number of childhood infections when we saw him at our outreach.

CARE FOR THE UNREACHED CAME WITH THE HELP

May 5, 2021 : Our team visited the baby and his caregiver with essential care items that will last for an average six months until our intended follow up with the family. We bought diapers, wipes, baby formulas and presented the caregiver with a cash gift of 50,000 naira for his upkeep.

We plan to follow-up with them again soon.
